Describe a testable problem
Instead of a general complaint, state what happens and what you expect: an unmatched opening balance, an incomplete purchase workflow or an unexplained report. These are possible examples, not findings from Aleem clients.
Keep the original scope, migration files, test results and list of delivered and missing items. A disagreement between provider and team is not a substitute for identifying the disputed document or report.
Classify the issue before expanding scope
We suggest a register separating:
- Incomplete or inconsistent source data.
- Configuration differing from the agreed design.
- Unclear procedures or incomplete training.
- New requirements outside the original scope.
Classification is an evidence-tested working hypothesis, not a pre-assignment of blame. Several issues may coexist.
Preserve the change trail
The Companies Law requires accounting records and supporting documents for a company's activities, contracts and financial statements to be maintained. In practice, project recovery should not erase balance provenance or change history; agree how evidence will be retained and change effects reviewed before implementation.
What belongs in the recovery plan?
We suggest a scope addressing evidenced issues, required data, approval roles, restart tests and exclusions. Do not accept “guaranteed go-live” without understanding data and process limits.
A separate diagnostic check can be a starting point when the cause is unclear; it does not automatically include corrections. Reconfiguration, migration or training belongs in an appropriate implementation quotation, without a promise of complete data recovery or success within a fixed period.
