Start with the problem you need to solve

Before requesting an Odoo proposal, describe where work breaks down. Are sales transferred manually into accounting? Do departments disagree on customer balances? Is product profitability difficult to explain because inventory and accounting are disconnected?

These are discovery questions, not automatic reasons to buy a new system. If the problem concerns data entry or responsibilities, you may need to organize work in your current system before considering a move.

What does an Aleem Odoo implementation involve?

We do not treat implementation as opening an account and handing over login details. The service scope starts with understanding workflows, followed by accounting configuration, migration of agreed data and balances, testing and training, through to go-live and the support specified in the scope.

Depending on the business’s needs, our scope can cover accounting, sales, purchasing, inventory, point of sale, HR and payroll, projects and manufacturing. Listing these modules does not mean every project includes them all. Modules, deliverables and exclusions are agreed in writing.

Turn your needs into clear deliverables

Business need What to ask to see before approving the scope
Understand outstanding balances Receivables and payables ageing, with an explanation of the source balances
Understand business performance Income statement and balance sheet, tied back to the accounts
Monitor goods Inventory movements and valuation, where inventory is in scope
Understand profitability Reporting by the agreed branch, product or cost centre

Choose a workflow from your business and ask to test it: a sale, its collection, and the effect on the customer account and report. The purpose is to check how work will run, rather than simply view a prepared reporting screen.

Where does e-invoicing fit?

ZATCA defines an electronic invoice as one generated in a structured electronic format; a paper invoice converted by scanning or copying is not an electronic invoice. In your assessment, distinguish the document’s appearance from how it is generated and processed.

Ask for invoicing readiness and testing work to be specified in your project scope. Do not assume it is complete just because you have selected a software brand. This article explains system fit; it does not determine your business’s integration wave or deadline.

Your next step

If the problem in your existing system is unclear, start with an Accounting System Health Check: diagnosis and a written findings report within the agreed scope, without implementing fixes; remediation requires a separate proposal. If the need to connect operations and accounting is already clear, ask Aleem to scope an Odoo Accounting Implementation.
